Title: Region 1/region 2

How can I tell if my S4 DVDs are R1 or R2? I think my laptop will only play R2, but it doesn't say anywhere on the box what region they are?

Surely the best bet is just to try and play them through your laptop. If they play does it make any difference ?
That being said, I'd be slightly concerned that they don't say anywhere what Region they are. As far as I'm aware both Region 1 and Region 2 are usually confirmed on the box packaging.
Where did you pick them up ?

Iirc, only the R1 version has an audio commentary for Wild At Heart, so if it doesn't say anywhere on the packaging what region it is, see whether or not it's got that commentary.

I actually did find it on the box after all  But in my defence it was really tiny and blended in
But it's R1 so it won't play on the computer :(

Hi Margot I've just checked for you as I have region 1 season 4 set myself if you look on the back of the cardboard sleeve near the bottom there is a small picture of a globe with 1 on it and NTSC under it. It's a bit hard to see as it's grey on a black background who thought of that. :lmao: I hope that makes sense :ponder:

The other big giveaway is that the region 1 dvds are pan and scan, the region 2's are widescreen ;)
