Title: Book Of The Movie

grrrarrrgh - September 24, 2005 01:43 PM (GMT)
Not sure if this has been posted about yet, but there is a full page ad on the back of the Serenity magazine advertising the novel "based on the movie" and its already out! Who would want to read it before seeing the film?

We saw it the other week in paperback. Didn't open it and had to treat it like hot coal as huge spoiler danger involved.

No doubt once I've seen the film I'll be getting a copy :)

The Official Visual Companion seems to offer something different in terms of infomation about the film and it's production  I can't see the point of a book which is just a retelling of the movie when cheaper see it at the cinema

Well the novel is written by a good sci fi author Keith R A Candido and as you read it you can visualise the movie from your imagination, or I hope that will be the case.
:)
