Angel takes the gang out for an evening at the ballet, but becomes suspicious when the prima ballerina seems to be the one he saw dance more than a century ago. When Angel and Cordelia sneak backstage to investigate, they find themselves consumed with an unnaturally sudden and strong passion for one another.

Why on earth does Fred choose Gunn.
Lovely to see Summer Glau although the actual storyline always takes second place to the feelings of the gang that run alongside the memories.
I was quite happy with Angel & Cordy getting together in this as it was a one off. Angel's sudden interest in her seems quite contrived.
Got to love the deleted scene with Wesley dancing too.

I feel this is totally overrated as it says nothing more than a night out can be magical. Well thank you Mr Whedon for that devastating insight. I admit there is some element of slick storytelling here.
Joss was entirely right to remove the bizarre dance sequence with Amy and Alexis as it is nothing more than a novelty sequence which does not really w**k. Buy the DVD if you want to watch what was cut.
Not in the same ballpark as OMWF. 7/10. sk

The sequence doesn't w**k at all in the story which Joss admits he couldn't find a way to get it to fit but it's hilarious and I'm delighted it is on the dvd.
It is probably the episode that I watch most of season 3 :)

Love this episode, poor Wes :tear: Think it is probably my most watched episode of season 3 also. I find the minions quite freaky :fear: :lol:

a good episode ... for the plot and for the development of the couple
love the under influence scene between angel and cordie ( :lmao: @ angel and his coat once outside the room)
really like wesley scene after he saw fred and gunn kissing
