Well, that was a waste of time :) While we're supposed to sympathise for poor bullied Alexander, I just laughed at the whole situation. So sue me :)

Alexander comes back, and he's just as crap as any other young person on Trek (Jake aside). It's a shame that yet again the child of a main cast member is shown up to be a bit rubbish, and then redeems themselves again...

Doesn't add much and doesn't do much to develop Alexanders character as anything other than a fairly pointless plot device.

Turned out not quite as bad as I thought it was going to be :ponder:

Not knowing what happens beyond this point, I can't help feeling that Worf, as a character, would've been better served had Alexander actually gone ahead and got himself killed at the hands of the Jem Hadar. It would've given him all sorts of guilt and grief to deal with and had the potential to make the character far more interesting. Plus it would have made me intensely happy to see the annoying little git get what he's always deserved :lol:

Instead, we get the happy, drippy "welcome to the family" ending :rolleyes:

The situation with Ziyal was far better handled :)
