I actually enjoyed this tv movie (I can't bring myself to think of it as a pilot) it was nowhere near as terrible as Thirdspace or River of Souls. Very entertaining in some scenes.
Like you, I will be waiting for some kind of discount (sale time) to get it, it's not bad, but definitely not worth standard dvd prices.
