:ponder: I don't know if long term fans of the show would enjoy this more than I did.
I nearly fell asleep half way through, didn't like the Earth based plot, at one point it got to a silly stage for me instead of heightened tension.
To be honest with the storyline they have already set up with the Ori I don't see any need for this.

**SPOILERS***
This ep did seem like a rehash of the trust episodes last season, but with added Bal. I found the Bal clones a bit tedious. Seemed unlikely he would be hiding here on earth, or be willing to clone himself (go'a'uld ego being what it is).
It was fairly interesting to see how Gerak dealt with the situation. He is a very annoying character, but I think he's supposed to be. I'm hoping he gets dealt with sooner rather than later. It would be nice to see him get his comeuppance at the end to the season, rather than him being a permananent addition.
Still, like you say, probably the weakest episode so far this season. More Ori please!!

I'm sure Gerak is supposed to be annoying but he is incredibly one dimensional and I don't think acted that well.
He certainly needs slapping down

No, I've not been impressed by Louis Gossett Jr either. Can't teal'c challenge him to a klingon slapping duel or something?
Just remembered another bit. Nice to hear Sam's comment about not being available. Presumably this means she and O'neil are still together. Although I'm not much of a shipper, I wondered if they were going to mention it this series.

After the last few episodes this one was rather bland, though that might have more to do with the loss of Vala
Mind you, one bad episode in 7 isn't bad going ;)
