There are two new shows starting next week on Toonami. YAY (Or maybe not)
Transformers: The Cybvertron Saga. Is yet another retelling of the Transformers mythos, in CGI from the team behind "Beast Wars", but featuring all of the classic characters and the vehicles they transform into. It's all part of Hasbro's new marketing strategy, their comic books have jumped to a new company as well, IDW publishing, the company behind the recent Angel and Spike books (and more famously the 30 days of night books  ) So maybe the stories will be more important than the flashy covers and eye candy art of the Dreamwave publishing series.
Another series (that's returning with new episodes) is Static Shock. The tale of a young African American, who once bathed in toxic chemicals, finds himself with the ability to manipulate electricity. The only surviving member of DC's tragic "Icon" line of heroes (all African american heroes, created after DC was publicly attacked for not having enough "heroes of colour" in their books) The adventures of Virgil Hawkins are quite entertaining and well worth a look, especially for the guest appearances of Batman and the Joker
All in all, a pretty good line up to replace the outgoing Justice League Unlimited and Batman series.
Though I can't wait to see the next series of JLU after last nights season finale (repeated tonight if you missed it). I'm reliably informed that the distinctly mediocre "The Batman" will improve in Season 2, but we'll just have to wait and see about that.
 I'm sure I'll be giving the new Transformers a watch, I really liked Beast Wars  looking forward to it :)
The trailers looked, uhm, interesting. It seemed to be very anime influenced cg, which looked different to the normal CGI animation out there. It should indeed be an interesting watch :D
:ermm: I watched some of the new Transformers but didn't like it much, I hated the voices :ermm:
