If you enjoy the Bajoran spirituality type eps (like me) this is very good :)

Avery Brooks pulls off a good performance, the story's interesting and there's a nice bit of conflict between Sisko aka the emmissary and the federation, culminating in him telling the bajorans not to join star fleet.

Also another one of those eps that wouldn't have worked anywhere near as well if the acting wasn't as good as it was.

Another great episode - while normally the Bajoran stuff is a bit boring, Brooks' performance was superb :)

And the new 'First Contact' uniform debut here - I've always felt they've suited DS9 far much better than the coloured ones, and at the same time I don't think I could see them w**king on Voyager :)

There was a lovely bit of foreshadowing too - the whole 'swarm of locusts coming' prophecy turning out to come very true in a few episodes time....

Still, didn't anyone have the balls to tell Sisko he combadge wasn't on his uniform properly? :)
