 Another good episode. Its starts with comedy and I thought it was going to be a lightweight episode until the arrival of the Ori. With the Priest arrival the show takes a dark turn very well done.
Poor Cameron :o :tear: It served to emphasise though that the others seem to have some sort of immunity
:ponder:
Quite a scary thought that the Ori could be doing the same thing on countless other planets :fear:
Not sure what to make of Dr Lam being Landry's daughter yet. Good episode :)

I quite enjoyed this episode as well, although I think my copy missed a scene. I was completely confused by Cameron not being in this episode, until they showed him getting better at the end. I assumed this was because the others had been exposed to a similar virus in the Frozen, but Vala wasn't there, and come to think of it, neither was Daniel.
The Ori look immensely powerful. I can't help they have a pretty legitimate claim to be gods. When they are capable of bringing the dead back to life, you have to give them their due. I wonder how fast they are moving through the galaxy. Hopefully, we'll be seeing a lot more of them in the weeks to come.
I'd guessed Dr Lam was Landrys daughter a few weeks ago. Either that, or he was stalking her. I'm quite looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops.

:( Your copy must have missed a couple of scenes I think as Cameron was definitely there.
I'm wondering exactly how the Ori's powers w**k though, is it more a form of mind influence so that others believe people dead / ill or some kind of time control :ponder: if they really can kill and bring people back to life with no ill effects then they are pretty powerful indeed.

I've been wondering that too. Hopefully we'll learn a little more about these mysterious beings as the weeks pass.

I also hope that we will learn more further in the season.

I like to think like Daniel said they are just more technologically advanced and must be at the point where they know just about everything about how the universe works. why do they want everyone to worship them ?
I'm wondering how this is going to tie together with the ancients as there is clearly more to this than meets the eye. The Ori are indeed powerful but maybe they are too powerful? It seems to me that only an eventual interception by the ancients is going to help them now.

Cameron seemed to be missing for part of the episode I had recorded off Sky too. I didn't realise he was sick until he had been cured which I thought was odd. I don't know if this has been shown in season nine, I just can't remember, but maybe his sickness must have something to do with him having the ancient gene?

I didn't think he had the ancient gene. Have we been told this?
I thought the ep was good and hadn't realised Cameron was ill, till he felt "tingly" and recovered. That confused me a little.
Now i'm just waiting to see ep 6 which i have taped but am not allowed to watch yet, cos my mum doesn't like it, she doesn't like any decent tv, so i always have to watch stuff while she's out.
Hope everyone enjoys the next ep.
Ems :)
