Title: Weiss The Lost Pilot
Welsh Ethan - August 15, 2005 07:01 PM (GMT)
I knew i wasn't going mad when i was sure that greg grunberg was the pilot of the plane in lost, just checked on imdb just know. Pretty good i thought so far, i wonder how JJ will cope with helming two shows at once for another season, especially as one is made in Hawaii. Interesting rumours about the fate of alias after season 5, but i think jj's attention will be more on lost for a while, so i can see season 5 being alias' last.

You had to look him up!
Greg's had a part in everything JJ has ever done :)

Yeah, but there are still some people who haven't watched it cos they've been on holiday who might stumble across it here. Well, that was my thinking anyway

You may as well mark all posts on the board as spoilers if that's your reasoning

:ponder: So, does that make Greg Grunberg an Abrams "Hat Trick" (if he did Felicity too)? ;)

i think a spoiler is only something that hasnt yet been aired in the uk, you can't really say that once it is aired you cant talk about else the whole board would be classed as spoilers.

Which I think is what I said :ponder:

the only thing i now about felicity is a xander quote from where the wild things are, when the girl cuts off all her hair, which is a nod to when the lead actress (dont know her name) cut her hair without telling the producers (jj i presume). Was it a comedy??? drama???

And I do agree
The only reason I did it is because this is the Alias forum, and this thread relates to Lost, so I still maintain that people could've stumbled across what I posted when they didn't want to. Maybe I should've just moved the thread and been done with it
Next time I won't bother
Back to the topic please! :)

The amount I know about Felicity can be written in one post (which I've already made)
Welsh Ethan - August 15, 2005 07:38 PM (GMT)
oh yeah i also remember the panel on the s3 alias dvd that included JJ, JG and the woman who played felcity talking about the shows, still didnt say much about what type of show it was though, irrc

TV.COM has this to say about Felicity
| QUOTE |
This coming-of-age drama tracked the experiences of the naive Felicity Porter, who moves across the country to New York to attend college and pursue her high school crush, Ben Covington. The show followed Felicity and her new friends as they made the transition to adulthood and dealt with an endless slew of crises. |

I think Felicity is one of those college drama type shows. Other than that, all I know is it was she show JJ did before Alias. And I only know that because he mentioned on one of the commentaries that he got the idea for Alias while he was w0rking on Felicity . Oh, and that Jennifer Garner and Kevin Wiseman both had guest spots on it (and I now know Greg Grunberg did too - thanks Paul :D ). I think it aired on ITV2 here for a while
Welsh Ethan - August 15, 2005 07:44 PM (GMT)
so basically dawson's creek but with a female lead (and less pseudo analysis by 15 years olds)
Flamingo - August 15, 2005 08:04 PM (GMT)
Paul? your talking about Felicity? What is this site coming to???
-- I always wanted Jack and Doug to get together on Dawsons, wasnt it such a match made in heaven?-- :lmao:

It also starred thingy who played Marshall`s wife in Alias - she played Megan, who was married to Greg Grunberg`s character in Felicity.
Sorry, bit vague on the names !

this is very much like joss' liking of putting actors he knows and is a fan of in all of his shows, leading to the hatricks of appearing all three of his shows, also judging by the banter bewteen ricky gervais, JJ and Greg (ricky (toJJ): oh! who invited mr thunderbirds) they sound very much like old colledge buddies.
Jae - August 15, 2005 08:36 PM (GMT)
I'd like to see JG and MV appear in Lost, lol.
Welsh Ethan - August 15, 2005 08:38 PM (GMT)
they probably will at some point, in the flashbacks in the background

I think JJ Abrams and Greg Grunberg have been friends since Kindergarten - the school, not the film. ;)
goth willow fan - August 15, 2005 08:43 PM (GMT)
Yep JJ and Greg go waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back :)
Outta Sight - August 15, 2005 09:07 PM (GMT)
I've only ever watched about 2 episodes of Felicity and, sadly, they didn't feature Greg Grunberg :( But I love the cross series roles that we've seen from Joss  Nathan in Buffy was great (although, obviously, I didn't know it was him until I saw the repeat of Buffy  ) and Adam in Angel
Kate, I never saw Jack and Doug together but, as you say, in hindsight perfect for each other
Fangy and grrr - August 15, 2005 09:19 PM (GMT)
I read the other day that JJ had cast the girl who played Felicity ( Kerrie Russell ? ) in Mission Impossible III, I wonder if Greg will turn up in that as well. :)

I looked at that a few mins ago, and if you scroll down to the forums section, someone has posted that it hasn`t been picked up - haven`t looked at the forum itself because I`m not registered, but that was the title for it. :(
Outta Sight - August 16, 2005 12:21 PM (GMT)
It wasn't picked up by ABC :tear: I think J.J. Abrams was going to try and get another network interested but I've not heard anything since  :(
