Title: S4 R2 Dvd
Jae - August 13, 2005 07:26 PM (GMT)
According to
Play, S4 is due to be released in November.
Looks like Five won't be buying the rights!
Ghostmachine - August 14, 2005 12:31 AM (GMT)
And yet didn't S4 get some of Alias's best ratings in the States?
Guess it's all immaterial who shows it when you can buy the entire season in one hit.

Thanks, Jae ! That`s a really fast turnaround - might even think about cancelling my Region 1 order ! :o

WOW!!! Brill!! Wait.. thats like 2 months away... OMG

I'd have loved to have seen it getting another chance on terrestrial, but at least this way I can watch it minus interruptions. And no more staying awake until whatever ungodly hour Five decide to screen it
Yay-For-Me - August 14, 2005 07:07 PM (GMT)
That's amazing  considering that season 3 hasn't long been released.

The link above is blocked from my w**k, so it probably includes this artwork and info, apologies if it does.

I think the only reason why we're getting it so soon, is because no terrestrial channel will be showing it. Or at least not at this time.

On a related note, I just saw that HMV are selling the first two seasons for £24.99 each in their sale at the moment. Don't know if that's good or bad compared to elsewhere but I thought I'd mention it :)

Amazon have the first two seasons available for £20.97...
Amazon - Alias season 1That`s with free p&p, too.

:snooty: Don't talk to me about Amazon, they're not in my good books at the moment. First, the fiasco over my PSP. Second, I've just bought a book in HMV that Amazon weren't supposed to be sending me for a couple of weeks, I just went on the site to cancel the order and they've already despatched it <_<
Good price for the dvds though

I love Amazon.
I`ve had two problems with them, about books being late in dispatch, and both times they`ve got back to me within a couple of hours and waved money at me ( £5 and £3)
Erm , not entirely sure what a PSP is - it`s like a games thingy that does other stuff ?

That's the one, PlayStation Portable :)
I use Amazon a lot, but they've messed up a few times recently. I put the order for this book in along with some other items due out in a couple of weeks, asked them to group them together, but they've decided to send the book separately anyway
Ghostmachine - October 6, 2005 02:48 PM (GMT)
I think you'll find that it's generally the policy with most sites like Amazon and play, etc, that they send stuff out separately. If they put it all in one bundle and it goes missing in our post (which is not entirely an unlikely scenario with our crappy postal system), then they - and you - don't lose out quite so badly.
It's a security thing, more than anything else.
willowroolz - October 6, 2005 02:59 PM (GMT)
I wouldn't mind, but every time I've done this before they've held everything back and sent it all in one box, so I thought I was safe getting the book today and cancelling that part of the order.
Oh well, one of my mates will be getting a copy of the England team's Ashes Diary for Christmas I guess

I always appreciate that because they do the whole ` No extra charge ` thingy, and you get a book earlier than expected. Although in your case, much earlier than expected. <_<
