*****SPOILER*****

I hate spoilers, but I had to laugh at this one. This episode features a female "vampire" whose name is - wait for it - Buffy Sanders

Anyone care to have a guess at the number of Buffy-related gags in this episode? I lost count about half-way through but it was already well into double figures.

How bad was this episode? I think that awful is an understatement. The whole Buffy/Vampire story was terrible from start to end. I mean they even tried to make it "cool" by having Lana say "that only works in the movies" or something like that to Chloe as she holds up a crucifix.

As you said on the previous episode thread Steve they have got some serious w**k to do to turn things around. To be honest I thought that after last season but this season so far is the stuff of cancellation material. Shouldn't this season have a more mature feel putting the whole teen High School thing to bed?

You can't say I didn't warn you

The problem is that it's had decent ratings this season, so obviously the change in tone over the last two years is appealing to someone

Note to self: don't go to Kryptonsite anymore - I went there to look at the ratings and picked up a MAJOR spoiler, plastered all over the main page, for the 100th episode (even though I'd kind of guessed it already)

It's had decent ratings this season? How can that be?

Are those watching liking what they are seeing?

My flatmate and I were like "are they paying Joss for this?" since it was so Buffy-lite. And the bit in the hospital where Clarke says to JM about vampires

I've not watched Smallville since halfway through S2 because it's scheduling was always wrong for me and maybe I've not picked the best time to start watching again.

You can say that again

I would say "it can't get any worse", but then I said that the week before last :lmao:

Don't say that, I want it to be the show I used to enjoy a few years ago :ermm: , but the appearence of JM could be a sign that I'm going to get sick of it soon. Too much JM, not enough Lex imo <_<
