The Tremors Attack Pack is coming to region 1 dvd on 29/11/05 at a cost of $26.98. The set includes all of the movies: Tremors, Tremors 2: Aftershocks, Tremors 3: Back to Perfection and Tremors 4: The Legend Begins.

Apparently they'll all be in anamorphic widescreen. If that's true it guarantees a purchase from me (seeing as the original r1 release of the first movie that I've got is bog standard letter-boxed), but it's only a 2 disc set so it remains to be seen. No word on extras, either.

If they aren't it could be a case of getting the German Tremors: The Legacy box set :ponder:

A 2 disc set covering 4 movies ? That doesn't sound too promising. Even if there are no extras, 2 movies to a disc is going to have an impact on the quality of the compression. Do you know if they're double-sided Steve ?

Love the first movie, but the rest aren't too hot :(

As I was making the first post I was searching for more info and I got a bit disheartened as I read other sites. That's why I've started leaning towards the German set :ermm:

I agree with you about the other movies, I'd just love to have an anamorphic version of the first one cos it's one of my favourites and the one I've got looks pretty bad on my tv :snooty: :lol:

Just to update;

A region 2 release of the original Tremors movie is scheduled for October 3rd. £5.99. It's the widescreen version. No extras though unfortunately :(
