Bad news on the game Stargate SG-1: The Alliance....I'm afraid its future has been put into severe doubt as the publisher JoWood has terminated its contract with the developer Perception. This was apparently due to the games actual quality.

Well I'd rather there wasn't a game if it was going to be rubbish.

Oh well I'll keep those interested updated but for now it looks like the game has been cancelled indefinitely. It might just be put on hold however which means that another developer may pick it up, and develop it for the next generation consoles but to be honest I think its been canned totally.

To be honest I can't say I'm surprised - Cult TV video games always have had a problem getting anywhere (and succeeding) these days unless they're either a) an overly popular series (like Buffy), or b ) they're nothing like the series in question (like Star Trek: Elite Force or the many Star Trek flight simulators, which, be they as good as they are, aren't really the kind of thing you'd associate with Trek - at least compared with the likes of A Final Unity and Harbinger)...
