Title: S5 Casting News (no Plot Spoilers)

Psycho Jack - August 6, 2005 09:17 PM (GMT)
DS reports that Élodie Bouchez and Rachel Nichols will be on-board for Season 5 of Alias.

I'm guessing they'll be recurring characters as a pose to regulars, though that's pure speculation. :)

Mind you Rachel Nichols is ever so hot...

Speaking of casting for S5, has anyone else heard the (highlight white text for hint of spoiler) MV rumour?

Can "Alias" survive without its leading lady, JENNIFER GARNER? Producers are hopeful. Source tells me that Garner has made it clear that she probably won't be returning to the show next year for a sixth season. Producers are apparently betting on this season's new co-star, RACHEL NICHOLS, to save the hit series. She plays a new spy being trained by Garner. If she's a hit, they're looking to make her the show's next star. Garner's rep didn't comment. An "Alias" rep says,"I haven't heard that so I can't confirm that."

Highlight if you want to know

 How can you have Alias without Sydney?

It would be pretty weird wouldn't it. Especially since they have put so much time into the Rambaldi prophecies and how Sydney is tied up in it. I wouldn't be surprised is S5 is the last, SFX is saying that the cast and crew are talking as though it's the final season

I thought S5 was going to be the last anyway. I may not even be watching, I just havent been bothered about Alias at all this year. It's just got so boring, so I think if it hasn't improved by the finale (which, since I know what happens, I think is unlikely) I probably won't continue watching.
