Stardate: Unknown A Pah'wraith (evil entities who are enemies of the Bajoran Prophets) possesses and impersonates Keiko, but reveals her identity to Miles, threatening to kill her if he doesn't carry out her mysterious instructions.

Like last season's 'Accession', this was one I didn't remember being that bad, yet upon rewatching it I found I enjoyed it a lot more!

I did like the fact what while this is predominaltly an O'Brien story, Rom got an awful lot of storyline himself - from his trying to fit in with the Engineering team, to actually helping O'Brien save the day (and his wonderful scenes in the holding cells with Sisko and Odo :)

The one thing I never understood at the end was what actually happened? Did O'Brien deliberately fix the 'magical beam of the week' to hit Keiko rather then the wormhole, or was it something else?

I loved my rewatch of this ep. "Finally" I cried. An episode where Cakehole O'Brien wasn't completely obnoxious and impossible to watch

The introduction to the Pah Wraiths were great though. A bit of a subtle way to introduce another key villain to the show. But it worked remarkably well IMO.

I had to dissapear to w**k before the end of the episode, so never got round to seeing the end of it...

I reckon it would have been interesting if they'd made an arc out of this episode, with a O'Brien spending a few episodes coping with the possessed Keiko...

Whilst not quite as anti Keiko as some, it certainly fair to say this is a much better Keiko ep than most.

I always took it as O'Briens last effort to get Keiko back. After Rom asked him re why trying to kill the wormhole aliens he worked out that his last chance would be to focus the beam on the shuttle rather than the wormhole :)

Good fun

As always, Rom is fantastic value and it's good to see his loyalty and dependability being rewarded at last.

Meaney puts in another fantastic performance, although I'm sure I'm not the only one willing him to do something to cause the wraith to kill Keiko :ph43r: :shifty:
