Oh, alright :)

Since you asked so nicely, and all :)

Cheers Phillip

I like the Ferengi plot but the Kira/O'Brien one is a bit

Love Quarks reaction in the bar when he blurts out he's dying and again when Bashir tells him he's not :- "Do you know what this means? I get to sue Dr Orpaks? for malpractise! And I get to live!"

Coombs is great as usual and really seems to relish what his chracter is doing to Quark. Nice touch at the end of the ep with the crew getting Quark up and running again :)

The Kira/O'Brien bit works well for me - if only since it means we don;t get another interminable 'lets hide <insert female actress> behind consoles or give her a new jacket to try and hide the fact she's preganant' trick they seem to do on Trek :)

I love the Quark story though - although my favourite part has to be the bit where Quark and Garak are discussing how to kill Quark effectively with the holographic corpse of Quark lying face down in his dinner :D

I wasn't so sure about the ending - it seemed to be annoyingly Trekkian (is that a word?) in that come the end of the episode, the status quo is back to normal, and moreso that it has to have a happy ending...

It is now

Didn't mind that too much tbh, at least it wasn't on the same scale as Voyagers Year of Hell  .

Not sure if they carry it through 'till the end but at least they keep the Ferengi Prohibition notice up for the next couple of eps :)

Spoiler free :)

Quite amusing, the Quark storyline. Once again, for me, that was down to Rom and his constant poo-pooing of Quark's remarks, especially when the latter thinks the Nagus has put in a bid - "Doesn't sound like the Nagus I know" oslt

I really liked the final scene, it was quite touching and unexpected. Had to laugh when Quark made up the storage charge

The B story didn't really w**k for me, but I didn't know until reading this thread that Nana Visitor was really pregnant, so I guess it makes perfect sense to alter the O'Briens' storyline to fit that in.

I've lost count of how many times Jeffrey Combs has appeared now
