Title: Nip/tuck
Description: No season 3?
Ghostmachine - July 27, 2005 12:57 AM (GMT)
I read somewhere on the net that Channel 4 won't be broadcasting Season 3 of this good, meaty show due to crap ratings. Anyone know anything about this? It's a real shame if that is the case.
Fingers crossed that five will swoop in and do the needful, like they did with Alias and Angel.

Sky One have picked up the rights to season 3 but I don't think Channel 4 have. Once again, they totally screwed up by putting it on too late and guaranteeing low ratings  Now they've got a new stable of prime time US dramas to show, I doubt they'll want to bother with Nip/Tuck.

Which is a shame because it is a really good show

i guess there is a reason for two episodes a night on C4 ... how to get ride of a show quickly

It's a shame channel 4 aren't going to try for s3. I always seem to forget about it when it's on Sky One but I always catch it on channel 4. I guess I'll just have to make more of an effort to watch when it's on Sky.

It hasn't moved channels. It was always shown on Sky One first ;)

Typical I really like this show but due to it's late showing on Wednesday nights I end up having to tape it each week. No wonder it has low ratings though I mean what do they expect if they put it on from 11 - 1 in the morning!!
I take it it's not being shown next week then due to the start of Lost?
Ghostmachine - August 3, 2005 08:55 AM (GMT)
No, it's on next Wednesday. 2 eps, both quite late. That's as well as the 2-part launch of Lost, bracketing the cultural void that is Big Brother.
and of course, I'm out next Wednesday night.
