| Stardate: Unknown Gul Dukat asks for the assistance of Kira to help him track down a Klingon ship that destroyed a Cardassian Outpost. If he is successful in his mission, he will be reinstated into the Cardassian Government. |

I quite like this one :)
The rehabilitation of Dukat continues and either his daughter has grown quite quickly or the actress has changed
The main bit in this one that grates is that it seems too easy to disable and takeover a warship under the control of the most feared warriors in the galaxy

While not altogether bad, this one just didn't keep my interest.
It's interesting for the fact it introduces Damar to the DS9 universe (who knew how far he'd go?), and for the fact they ripped off Star Trek III wholesale with the old 'switch the crews with the transporter' job.

It's odd, but on this show I prefer some of the recurring characters to some of the regulars. Rom is one, and Dukat is another, and I really enjoyed this episode. I remember a few eps back that Kira observed that he likes the sound of his voice a little too much, and it's true, but Marc Alaimo does such a fantastic job of rounding out Dukat that he never grates. In fact, I find some of his speeches fascinating, and there was a lot of that here - particularly when he's trying to persuade Kira to join his cause.
I remembered the end quite well, with his daughter returning to DS9 with Kira, but it still felt fresh.
Very enjoyable :)

Part of what makes DS9 for me is the quality of not only the back up cast but also the guest actors. Whoever was in charge of casting did a bloody good job imo :)
It also means that storys often come out better than say on Voyager simply because there's nearly always something of interest going on, even if it's not the A plot , as it were :)

Maybe. The problem is that I sometimes (emphasize the "sometimes" ;) ) find the main characters a bit dull in comparison to the likes of Rom and Dukat, with the exception of Odo
