A bit closer to real life this one, after current events :(
As long as you don't wonder too much as to why there aren't any other officers that could have been put in charge of security on earth that didn't mean leaving DS9 without its' commander this is an enjoyable epsiode.
Sisko Snr is another good guest star and seems to have a great rapport with Avery Brooks and Jake (can't remember the actors name  ).
Strangely part of the time that the explosion occurs is 9:11
Interesting to see the effect of the bomb on earth and the reaction of some of Starfleet to it :)
This is another good one - it's nice to see a return to Earth, and the fact things aren't all fine and dandy back home.
I'll post more in the part 2 thread, but one thing did strike me here - why on earth did Sisko feel the need to change into a TNG uniform when he got to Earth?
Now this is more like it
Thoroughly enjoyed this one, it was intriguing, exciting and a fair bit of tension. Shapeshifters on Earth this quickly, very scary. Also liked all the scenes with Sisko's father (good old Admiral Whatisface). Bemused to see Geordi's holodeck girlfriend turn up as well
Pretty much liked everything about this one, with a really good build up in atmosphere towards the end. WTF?? :o
Why is the president of the Federation in charge of Earth policy, though? Doesn't Earth have its own government who would make such decisions, rather than an alien?
