HERE for the ratings of all the popular shows as judged by puritanical American parents. The reviews seem to be a year behind the times, and the only show I looked up, that didn't get a "red light" rating was Enterprise. And they watched Season 3 to give it that :blink: :blink:

Its like the "advisory" stickers on CDs - the red makes me more like to watch.
They use "children" as the excuse but we all know its their own twisted values and supressed emotional development that is upset by real life shows.

If I'm not sure about something I always watch it first and then decide if it is suitable for the kids.
Programmes like Buffy, my daughter knows exactly which episodes she can watch and which epsiodes she can't watch.
Some of those things on that website are just plain stupid, kids hear worse swear words in the playground and see girls in skimpier outfits on the beach :weird:

I couldn't find anything that had a green light, not even 8 Simple Rules! It makes you laugh though, most of the shows they gave a red light are shown during the day here.

7th Heaven is green - I assume its saccharin "highway to Heaven" type nonsense.
I only watched a couple of Joan of Arcadias but I assume they like the "caring" God ideal and the caring family unit.
