After an empty night of passion with Darla, Angel surprisingly wakes up with his soul still intact and has an epiphany. His moment of clarity brings him back to the land of the living and while he tries to reunite with his crew, Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn aren't ready to forgive him, even when their very lives are at stake.
i was expecting a little more from epiphany even if the episode is good (mostly because there are good scenes)

Darla: But we... Angel: I know... Darla: ...and you... Angel: Yes... Darla: Then I... Angel: Three times... Darla: You're not evil?
Darla: Well, I don't accept this. You cannot tell me that wasn't perfect. Not only have I been around for four hundred years, I used to do this professionally and that was perfect!
Angel: You did me a favor tonight. Now I'm going to do one for you. Get dressed and get out. Because the next time I see you, I will have to kill you.

Host: I'm not deaf, you know! Geez. Keep yer pants on! (Sees Angel) Ahhh. Well. I see we're a little late with that advice...
Host: I think I speak for everyone when I say, if all you're going to do is switch back to brood mode, we'd rather have you evil. Because then, at least, leather pants.

angel to rescue cordie/wes/gunn and then while checking on cordie (angel: you ok, cordie: no, you hurt my feelings)

Kate: I'm okay. Anyway, I'm not... headed for another pillathon. I'm very grateful. I never thought you'd come for me. But I got cut a huge break, and I believe... I don't know what I believe, but I... have faith. I think maybe we're not alone in this. Angel: Why? Kate: Because I never invited you in.

Angel: I don't want you to come back to w**k for me. Wesley: Oh. I see. Angel: I wanna w**k for you.

We should have had more of the epiphany, a bit too quick to change so suddenly
Darla wanting to go again is quite funny but it does feel a little contrived, why would he double up in pain other than to mislead viewers
:tear: poor Lindsey the truth finally hitting him :( and then turns into pycho cowboy out for revenge. His fight with Angel is a memorable one, its not as clear cut as Lindsey being a bad guy, he holds Angel responsible for ruining his life and has little to lose :o at the smashed hand
Ew at the third eye going in Cordy this time, forgot to mention ews from the last episode. Quite good effects. :)
How does Lorne know whats happening to them by the way :ponder:
Good scene as Wes is trying to reach the rifle and ammo only to be attacked from both sides.
Angel saving Wes smiling at each other and then realising its not the same as before. Wes giving Angel a few home truths followed by Gunn.
Wes falling over when trying to save Cordy :lmao:
Cordy happy to see Angel but not prepared to forgive him yet. I'm glad they chose to show the consequences of his actions, his ruined friendships and Angel having to earn their trust again. Angel asking to w**k for them, actually a pretty good move.
Kate actually thanking Angel for once, glad they mentioned the not inviting him in part as you automatically question him being able to enter her apartment.
