Nice, enjoyable episode for me this one :)

Nothing particularly significant and little or no bearing on things in the normal universe, as it were.

Only little gripe I've got is that given how easy Sisko overpowered Smiley, why the bl**dy hell didn't he do that before they transported to the mirror universe

I would suggest that was because he was in the middle of Ops with other crewmembers around who may have got injured as a result of his actions ;)

Well taking a few days off has done some good cos I really enjoyed this one. It's far, far better than the previous Mirror Universe story, which seemed largely pointless to me, because there's actually a point to this one (although, granted, it wouldn't have had a point had the previous story not set it up  ).

I thought Avery Brooks was excellent in this one. Someone should really avoid having Siddig play bad guys, though, he was terrible again, just rehashing his godawful acting from The Passenger. "Siddig, be evil"... "Okaaaay, I'lllll jussssst draaaaw oouuutt evvveryyyy sylllllabllllle theennn"

Good to see Jennifer again. The final shot of her was clever, with her out of focus in the foreground. Not sure whether it was intended this way, but it seemed to me to be indicating a blurring of the lines between universes for Sisko :ponder:
