Christian Kane, best known to cult fans as the evil lawyer Lindsey McDonald in Angel, will return to British screens next year - as a cowboy.

The BBC has just bought the rights to epic new Steven Spielberg mini-series Into The West, in which Christian will play Abe Wheeler. a.k.a. High Wolf.

Over six 90-minute episodes, Into The West follows the experiences of two families in the period 1825 to 1892; one, a Virginia family moving west to search for a new life, the other, a Native American tribe.

Christian has also recently landed a starring role in US crime drama Close To Home, which launches in America this autumn

I don't think he is playing a bad guy, I think he has an native sounding name in it but I could be wrong.

Christian Kane Voices 24: The Game
3/6/2006

Christian Kane lends his voice to the new action game for Play Station 2 based on the TV drama, Fox's 24, staring Kiefer Sutherland.

GameSpot.com ranks 24: The Game with a 6.2 (Fair)
Gameplay  5
Graphics  6
Sound  8
Value  6
Tilt  7

Commenting: "A sharply written storyline that's at least as good as what the show typically offers; stylishly directed cut-scenes; great voice acting." But fans, playing the game, are raking it with a 8.2 (Great)

"The game is just about as good as you could possibly hope for from a game version of the show. It features practically all of the principal characters, including Sutherland's Jack Bauer. In this particular adventure, players join Bauer and crew as they run up on a boat with a huge weapons cache and the chemical weapon ricin which is parked in an LA harbor."

"Of course, that's only where the story begins. Kidnappings, terrorist attacks, assassination attempts - these are just everyday occurrences for the CTU agency, and every single one happens over the course of the game's single-day timeline."

Fans of Christian's will certainly recognize his gravely, slightly southern accented voice as he brings his animated character to life. Christian is the second Angel actor to lend their voice to the video game genre joining Elisabeth Rohm's Law & Order video games character, A.D.A. Serena Southerlyn.

I'm betting he will be playing a villian :lmao:

4" 11' and small change. Some people MIGHT call that shortish, I suppose :whistling:

My mum still had a Ribena 'measure your tiny tots' chart on the kitchen wall till I was 28. Never made it quite to the top (which was 5 foot). So I'm more of a looking up to Oz and Jonathan type person, really.

So we both conclude that far from being a 'tiny Texan', Mr Kane is at the upper end of comfortable-to-talk-to-without-getting-a-crick-in-the-neck territory.

Who writes these things, and how tall are they? :ponder:

Well he does say that horror-type acting is the stuff he loves- maybe a publicist was poking him with a sharp stick at the time- or maybe he just enjoys whatever he happens to be w**king on- healthy attitude- not picky- unlike some :naughty:
