| BONES (A.K.A. BRENNAN) (FOX) - David Boreanaz ("Angel") and Michaela Conlin ("The D.A.") are the first to be cast in the drama pilot (previously known as "Brennan"), about a team of forensic anthropologists who solve crimes using evidence supplied by skeletal remains. Boreanaz will play an F.B.I. agent who works with the Smithsonian’s Medico-Legal Lab that’s the focus of the series. Conlin then will play Angela, additional character details about who weren’t available. Hart Hanson, Barry Josephson and Kathy Reichs are the executive producers of the project, which comes from 20th Century Fox Television. Greg Yaitanes is set to direct the pilot from a script by Hanson. |

When is it out? I can't wait
prophecy girl - June 21, 2005 09:28 AM (GMT)
i suppose we still have to wait a year before it come to UK screen ........... if ever :ponder:
Maria - June 21, 2005 11:06 AM (GMT)
That really annoys me! It's hard not to reveal the plot when America have seen everything earlier!
It had better be worth the wait!

There's a DVDSCR out of the pilot now, check Filesoup - I'm getting pretty good speeds too :)

Don't bother, not even for him. It's utter sh*t <_<

Correction in red:
FOX is now advertising the show. David plays an FBI agent with attitude (more like Angelus than Angel). He uses a forensic anthropologist (played by Emily Deschanel) to help solve the crime. The show was originally titled BRENNAN, the FBI agent's name, but it was changed to BONES and Deschanel is as heavily promoted as Boreanez. I think the bickering relationship between them is usually described as "cute".

 thanks, I gathered that from your other post so I don't think I'll bother, it would just make me angry that Angel got cancelled again

SCR is short for Screener. It's usually a finished version of what ends up on television. It's used to show company executives/cast/crew etc what the finished product will look like before it's actually shown on television. This one is DVD quality, meaning its recorded straight from film onto disk.
Most SCR's have warning signs at regular intervals saying things along the lines of "Property of Fox, not for commercial viewing, call this number". If it's a SCR of a movie then they'll usually dip in and out of colour, showing lengthy sections in black & white.
SCR's often get leaked to the internet long before the product is released ;)
Didn't like it one bit :ermm:

Sky One has picked up the show. I assume they will air it in the new year but the article doesn't mention a start date
