Angel goes on a frantic search after Drusilla turns Darla back into a vampire, and he must catch them before she rises again and the two go back to their old ways and paint the town red. Meanwhile, as Angel goes off the deep end, his staff worries they are the only ones standing between Angel and real darkness.

I am sympathetic to what Cardelia said when this first aired namely that television does not come much better than Reunion or Redefinition. I would qualify that by saying it does come much better in the fantasy or science fiction genre. Shows like ER, CSI, and Nip/Tuck can also be very special in their respective areas and it is difficult to compare because of the differences.

It must be said it helps that Darla is a staggeringly sexy beauty but the quality here is manifest irrespective of that. The quotes prophecy girl comments on speak for themselves.

There is something so ineffably perfect about having protagonists on an irresistable warpath. I am reminded a little of the film Badlands though the connection is a tenuous one at best. It is more of a feeling.

The 3Rs of AS2 remains something of a highpoint though I would include Sleep Tight as well. 9/10. sk

Another excellent episode. I find the whole of S2 rivetting.

The whole will he / won't he save Holland and co. Lyndsey not being scared and Angel walking out of the wine cellar in slo mo.

This episode has so much happening it is worth amny rewatches and ther is always something new to discover!

The birth under the stars, Dru works so well with Darla wonderful that they brought her back.

Firstly the confusion as Darla rises, she is still has some recollections from when she was human, being mad with Dru, it takes her a while for the demon to take over and when it does look out L.A.

The fabulous roof top fight between Angel Darla and Dru.

The subsequent argument between Darla and Dru with Dru being hit by the car. Darla looks so ethereal.

Wolfram & heart believing they can still control the pair of them, come on Drusilla is totally crazy how can they think they can get her to play nice :lol:

Lindsey's reaction to Darla and Holland's comments about having a healthy relationship.

The girls shopping spree :lmao:

Angel being so frustrated that he charges into the Law firm only to be escorted away by Kate :blink: good timing by her

I love it when Darla and Drusilla are together and i much enjoy watching Drusilla, she's a fascinating character.
