Which is your favourite Buffy couple?

When we were on the BBC boards we had like a tournament oslt to decide the fave Buffy couple. I was wondering what the view on these boards is. I hope this hasn't been done recently, couldnt' see it in the last few pages.

I voted for Buffy and Angel. No matter what happened in their lives I hope that they will always remain each others first true love! - I guess I'm a romantic at heart!

This poll has been done but it was a while ago so I don't think it matters if its repeated, we have so many new faces. It would be interesting in a few days to compare the two to see if our opinions have changed much.

I voted for Buffy and Angel as they have the ultimate doomed forever love, Spike and Dru would've been my second choice.

It had to be Buffy and Angel. The ultimate in doomed love, almost Romeo and Juliet-esque.

I did think about Willow and Oz and Willow and Tara... both lovely heart-warming relationships. I also thought about Xander and Cordy, they were so poorly matched, and the comedy value was huge! And any screen time for Cordy is always welcome of course! :drool:

i think willow dated oz to make xander jealous but discover in lover walk that she was really in love with him (now compare with willow/tara .... something that starting slowly but surely)

I think she fell for him before that. In Becoming it wasn't Xander she called for, it was Oz.

buffy/angel .... great as the doomed couple ............... but if angel ever become human (I will remember you was fantastic but still), i have a hard time believing their couple will have a long story (maybe end up boring)

Buffy and Spike for me no question....looks like that isn't a popular choice, though...

I am a Spike and Buffy fan but not before Bufy and Angel I'm afraid. I did enjoy the s6 screentime although I know many who didn't including SMG!

They have good reasoning too, some would hardly call that a relationship ;) but there are a few people who do like Spike and Buffy.
Though personally i think Spike with Dru and Buffy with Angel no matter how doomed they are.

I'm surprised Buffy/Angel actually won this, i thought there would be more Buffy/Spike fans.

might be because of the bathroom incident :ermm: (not mentionning the all spuffy) because buffy/spike did have some sparks (even if puppy love spike also kinda annoyed me)

still it was a long way to be as doomed/good as angel/buffy, imo :unsure:
