Looks like one for the Joan of Arcadia fans, I think it drew comparisons with that show originally. :thumbsup:

If it follows the same rules as Dead Like Me, that was in that slot, there should be a repeat later in the week I think :unsure: If not, I may just give in and buy the dvd instead :thumbsup:

Much to the anguish of both shows. Altho based on the same concept (God singles out a young woman to help others) they are very different in tone. JoA was a very fragile drama with humor, while WONDERFALLS was unabashedly absurdist. Think DEAD LIKE ME, which isn't surprising since one of WONDERFALLS' co-creators was responsible for that.

That was pretty much what I was thinking too, though it seemed to be getting a lot better towards the end. Maybe it's just cos it's in the same spot as the wonderful Dead Like Me :shrug:

I thought it was quite good and very funny in parts. Think the funny parts were quite adult as I was laughing but Ant wasn't :lol:

Totally missed the fact Sky were going to be showing this... I only found out watching my recording of Enterprise, so it was too late.

I did like most of the characters ; I almost didn`t recognise William Sadler ( Roswell`s Sherriff ) who was the father or uncle (?). Will be interested to see how it develops, though it does go over a lot of the same ground as JofA.

It had a funny tracheotomy scene, which I assume is a first. :ph43r: :lol:

I thought it was ok, quirky with some funny moments. Will watch next weeks, if I remember. :)

The premise is very similar to JoA but the heroine seemed much more like George from DLM - sarcastic and rude - and the humour more adult . On the basis of this first ep I think I'll prefer it to JoA but I'll wait to see if it comes anywhere near DLM.

I watched, thought the whole copycat thing was done well and was really funny at times. :)

I thought Sarah Drew was amazing as Bianca in the second episode. First as the disheveled, nervous girl, then as the smooth copycat, and in those sinister momemts. Not the weakest episode, but not the strongest one either. There are better ones to come (altho, my favorite remains the pilot episode).

Yay :thumbsup: I missed the first one but caught the repeat of the second one tonight and I really liked it :thumbsup: I can see why they made comparisons to JoA but it's still significantly different to hold it's own. Pity the network didn't think so :(

Didn't think this week's episode was quite as good as the first two but it was still pretty enjoyable. :)

If that's the one about the nun, it was one of my least favorites (along with #6, about the woman who went over the Falls in a barrel).

Yep thats the one. I found the nun a little annoying to be honest and the ending with the little girl just a little too sickly sweet. :rolleyes:

I was a bit disappointed after last week's but if this is the worst they get I won't complain :lmao: Looking forward to seeing some of the better ones though :thumbsup:

Don`t know - maybe there`s naughtiness in that ep. which isn`t suitable for us at 9pm, or the ratings aren`t too good so they`re replacing it in that time slot ? :shrug:
