Checking out a crater in a cornfield, Clark and Lana discover a baby with no parents and take him back to the Kent farm.

:yahoo: A brilliant episode with plenty of Clark and Lana.Clark was so cute playing the dad to bad this wasn't real.
I hope Clark really becomes to be a dad one day with Lana's children.
Awww poor Evan.
CHloe-"go get em speedy"
Great to see evil Lionel again. way to protective of Lex though.
Although i loved CLana, this episode was kind of rubbish, ony two more episodes to go.

jamiearmour - June 6, 2005 09:19 PM (GMT)
I wasn't too sure about this one. Premature aging baby, is a scifi staple storyline that has been done to death IMO. But the angle here seemed to be more Clark and Lana's reactions which were well played on both fronts.

Clark is going to be a good dad when we eventually adopt an ickle baby of our own :D

From spoilers I've seen. The next two (the final one especially) will rock Smallville to the core. :fear:

That sounds exciting, Jamie, can't wait.

Tonight's episode was too much Clark and Lana, I found it quite disturbing that Evan thought they were together :fear: :lmao: Sorry Arooj.
Clark with the baby was very sweet, made me feel quite broody.

I'm sure Clark will be a good dad when you two adopt the a child that i have with him.

Yes Forever and Commencemnt as supposed to be really good episodes. :innocent:

No offence taken but i'm not surprised that Evan thought Clark and Lana were together, they practically dating.

Next week's ep is just a normal ep, but the finale was a 2-hour special. I'm not sure how E4/C4 will handle it - they may well split it in half and show it over 2 weeks, so you'd effectively have a 23-week season.

Yuck! Pass the sickbag someone! :x

Way too much Clark and Lana <_<

The best bits involved Lionel, the rest of it was pretty poor, imo.

Worst episode for some time. Shame, because things had picked up quite well in the last few eps.

Couldn't have said it better myself Steve

My house mate and I were sat there shouting at the tv. I think this episode has to be my choice for worst ever ;)

Krazy - June 7, 2005 03:15 PM (GMT)
Although i'm a big fan of Clark and Lana,i think that this episode was rubbish aswell. ;)

A brilliant episode with Clark and Lana. though the storyline itself wasn't good at all. ;)

I realised after I first posted that you meant that the Lana/Clark bit was brilliant, but that you had said the episode itself was rubbish further down. I changed my post, but too late. My bad

Krazy - June 7, 2005 03:42 PM (GMT)
Oh well. :)
The thing about this season is the episodes have been good and bad, good and bad,the show needs to stick with some of the better episodes.

I thought this was a weak episode. The storyline was a bit pants. Looking forward to the finale...!

You may lose any respect for me too, but this ep did have it's endearing qualities.

It showed more effectively than any number of Clark/Lana eps, just how human Clark has become. It was a character story, with minimum flash effects and plenty of character development.
