Title: Minimum Post Length

LoobiLou - June 1, 2005 08:41 PM (GMT)
There is now a minimum post length in place on all replies. This means in order for your post to be posted it should contain at least ten characters. If it is not, a message will appear telling you that your message is too short and you will have to add to it.

Hopefully this will benefit all members and cut down on spam and one smily posts :)

The length has now been changed to 20 characters minimum length per post, hopefully this won't negatively effect anyone :)

:ermm: can if be an expection for the "3 words fanfic" thread? :ponder:

LoobiLou - June 4, 2005 04:42 PM (GMT)
Unfortunately it applies to every post made on the board...for that particular thread, posters will just have to add spaces after their text :)

prophecy girl - June 4, 2005 04:44 PM (GMT)
:snooty: ah well ... never mind

TV Crazy - June 4, 2005 06:45 PM (GMT)
Can smilies count as one or two characters as well as text and spaces?

Ems :)

LoobiLou - June 4, 2005 06:52 PM (GMT)
Yes they count but the point of the minimum character limit was to try and cut down on posts made entirely of smilies and spam :)

Bill The Bloodless - June 12, 2005 10:56 AM (GMT)
So...is there a maximum post length?
