Just when I think I know everything about Joss Whedon I'm reminded I don't know anything like as much as I would like to think :whistling: Anyway there is I pont to this I promise I was in my local Waterstones and I saw Fray GRAPHIC NOVEL which I hadn't even heard of  :tear:  which was described as a sister series to Buffy. Has anyone read it? if so whats it like?

I'm new to comics in general, is a GRAPHIC NOVEL a collection to stories that have been told across a few addtion  or is it something different

A graphic novel is a posh term for a comic, more or less.

Fray is one story.

I liked it, it is obviously a Joss Whedon story, if you see what I mean, it has all his trade marks. It is set in the Buffyverse but in the future. If you can afford it, go for it, if not see if your library has it or can order it for you.

there is only one story of fray

fray is a slayer in a far future (something like 200 or 300 years after the closing of the hellmouth ... or maybe it's more). iirc it was written around season five but there is still the scyphe as connection to buffy.
