Bit of a disappoinment for me this one, particularly coming after 3 very good eps and before another very good one in Second Skin.

Much prefer Dax in action types eps rather than woe is me type ones. Having said that some great scenes with Dax in medical gown, sadly not with a slit up the back, and white gown when she's in the symbiant pools

Not too much else to say really.

Not a bad episode, just not a good one either.

Sadly I'm just a little bit tired of each and every governemnt or high command in the Trek Universe being corrupt in some way or another - it just gets dull and unoriginal....

This one nearly sent me to sleep. Boring. Dull as dishwater. Yawnsome. I can't think of anything positive to say about it. Dax's supposedly terrifying hallucinations/memories were hilariously bad (all tv series should take a lesson from Buffy when it comes to dream-type sequences, imo). The only good bit was seeing her with her hair down again. Apart from that it was all a bit pointless

And how is it that Sisko can not only hand out Runabouts for members of his crew to bugger off on holiday, but can also up and leave the station, and take the Defiant off on a jolly because one single member of his crew isn't too well? Wouldn't Starfleet object? Aren't they worried about The Dominion coming through the wormhole while he's gone, leaving the station defenceless? I seem to remember Kirk getting all kinds of grief when he did similar for Spock in Amok Time, until the Vulcans stepped in :ponder:
