Title: New Assistant Rumours
Bakhesh - May 26, 2005 02:29 PM (GMT)
Following Billies decision to quit, there have been two of britains top starlets (and by starlet, I mean a girl who is likely to appear on the front of the Star) mentioned in connection to this role.
Brace yourself for this......
Zoe from Eastenders
or
Jennifer Ellison.
Can you imagine it? "Look out Dochta, theres a Daarleeek!"

According to the front page of "The Star" (which is still claiming to be a newspaper as opposed to a daily w*nk mag) They can exclusively reveal that the role has gone to Jennifer Ellison. :fear: :fear: Now that will scare the kids :lmao: And keep the dads interested  So she'd be the perfect assistant.
Course, she'll end up nicking the TARDIS, it's in her blood :lmao:
I would have preferred her ex- on screen hubby Philip Olivier though

Two blondes in one season!
Its all rumours, take them all with a pinch of salt, remember how sure the newspapers were that they ran a story claiming Bill Nighy was the new Doctor only to be found wrong a few days later when Christopher Eccelston was given the role.
Anyway neither of those two are totally disasterous.
All they need to do really is scream! :lmao:

But Daniel, its in the Star. How can it not be true? :)
I think Zoe from Eastenders might be OK actually, but I really wouldn't want to see Jennifer Ellison.

I totally agree with you on this one, time for a brunnette.
Plus she can scream very well, I've seen her on Eastenders! :lmao:

These two are both terrible actresses to be honest. Anyone who's worked with Phil Redmond should be excluded for just that as his shows (Brookside, Hollyoaks and Grange Hill) are rubbish
But as to who should replace Billie... :ponder:  ;)

All of this really depends on the character that RTD has perceived for the next companion. If, as reported, they are looking for a slightly older female, with dark hair, and slightly 'posh', then Rose Byrne fits that criteria (and she's been in one RTD production already ;)).

Omg!
What a scary choice... noooooo!
Michelle Ryan is just about tolerable, but Jennifer Ellison... please, no way!
Please let these rumours be completely unfounded!
Now Rose Byrne on the other hand... nice choice!
Andrew (HM) :yahoo:

I'd go with Laura Fraser. :)

I'm sure you would. But who should be the new companion?
Oh wait, I see where you were going now   :lmao:
