This one looked like it could be fun from the previews

Yeah. It may give Clark a vision of what is to come from young Mr Luthor :shifty:

I'm so looking forward to this. I watched the trailer and thought OMG! :o

Michael Rosenbaum totally owned this episode. When they allow him to delve into his creativeness he totally rocks! Seeing him as Lex and Alexander was great. It shows us what Lex would do if he just let himself go and stopped trying not to be his father. He makes moves on Lana, tries to off Clark and Chloe, sword fights with daddy, and shoots Jonathan. No lois  :shifty: :whistling:
It was an awesome episode.
9/10.

Best episode of the season by some distance, even if it was a case of seen-it-all-before. You have to wonder if they sat around and said "Remember that Star Trek episode where Captain Kirk got split in two, one good, one bad? Let's do that, it'll be so cool!" (not that Star Trek did it first, of course, but it was the one that sprang to mind).
Like Arooj says, Michael Rosenbaum was brilliant, like he'd been let off the leash after being pushed into the background for much of the season. And the repercussions at the end were interesting, particularly with regard to Lionel.
Great fun

Ah, but will he take note? :)

Brilliant
Really enjoyed this, but then I usually do  Michael Rosenbaum was fantastic as evil Lex. I was quite disappointed when they got put back together
At least Lionel has returned to normal and the look on Lex's face at the end was a classic. Just the hint of an evil smile

Probably not
Right now, Clark is acting more like Clueless American high schooler, than Kryptoninan superhero (in potentia).
He will learn, someday.
I loved "Onyx" It was just a rehash of any number of "good/bad split" episodes of other shows (even down to the man in the iron mask comments, I got a weird sense of deja vu) but it still worked in a fun way.
Everyone got to see what Lex is capable of (except poor clueless Clark) and the little half smile at the end, that said it all
:fear: :fear:

So most of us are all thinking the lex in the end of the episode was the evil one. :fear: Good lex can be to good sometimes, wanting lana and all that.

I took that as a sign of his forthcoming descent into evil :shifty:

Following that reasoning.... The world is doomed with Clark bound to turn evil and fulfill his fathers wishes.
I can't wait to see if they introduce the Eradicator into the show  I've got a feeling that's how it's heading.

I was excited when I learnt that Onyx was a Lexocentric episode, but my heart sank when I discovered that it was a good Lex/evil Lex story.
I thought that the fight scenes with the two Lexes were very well done, with seamless snappy cutting. However I wasn't particularly impressed with the episode overall, in spite of Mr Rosenbaum acting his little socks off.
Really Pa Kent has suffered enough, how much more can one man take.
I think the story line for Pa Luthor was written by a six year old.
Writer - "So now junior what shall we do with the character of Pa Luthor this season?"
Junior - "Make him Good!"
Writer - "And what shall we do with Pa Luthor then Junior?"
Junior - "Make him Bad again!" (collapses with laughter)
