Another good episode, although not earth shattering.
Notable for the first real introduction of the Maquis, which adds another dimension to the political situation.
Gul Dukat seems to be coming out as a reasonable enough guy at present :)
Will comment on this in the Part 2 thread, since I've ended up watching them both today :)
This probably tells me that I should have started watching DS9 at the appropriate point in the TNG rewatch, because we're touching on crossover territory here with Gul Evek etc, aren't we?
Anyway, pretty decent ep this, bringing new facets into the political situation for DS9 as well as setting up events in Voyager.
Good to see Sisko's clock from Dramatis Personae make such a prominent appearance.
As always, Marc Alaimo is worth the price of entry on his own.
The Vulcan bird was quite alluring, too, although I'm getting ready to punch Quark. "Oi, Ferengi! You're an ugly little troll, not a stud"
Still, I suppose it means there's hope for us all
And to carry on from Blood Oath, everything's straight back to normal, no comeback on Dax for the previous events. I can't remember if they ever touch on it again, but I would have liked to have seen at least a little fall-out from her actions in that episode.
More comments after watching part 2 :)
