In the aftermath of the explosion on Z'ha'dum, Sheridan is presumed dead and Garibaldi is missing. Delenn struggles to keep the alliance against the Shadows together, and Londo takes up his new position on Centauri Prime as security advisor the emperor.

Quite a good opener. I see the theme music returns to a mixture of the original theme from S1, and something completely new. Of the 4 so far, my favourite is the 3rd series music.

So the Emperor that Londo & Refa got into power is mad, and nice to see Londos' vision (from whenever that was) being a reality.

What was that thing circulating Z'ha'dum?

And who's that bloke with Sheridan, and more importantly how did he survive the 2 mile fall?

Questions, questions, questions.

Of course, you're assuming that he did survive

And can we squeeze any more references to LotR in here

Good start. I especially liked the Daffy Duck bit.

Just got back into rewatching but rather than start midway through the season I thought I'd start from here again.

Good set up for the rest of the year. Lots of questions set up. What's happened to Sheridan? Where's Garibaldi? Cartagia is obviously loopy. Why won't the Vorlons do anything to help the alliance?

Loved the discussion between Londo and Vir -

Londo: Of course the others know, but they are afraid to move against him. Whoever does so will almost certainly be killed.
Vir: That would be a drawback.
Londo: These creatures must be driven away before it's too late. We must stop Cartagia no matter the cost.
Vir: The cost? That would be the dying thing, right?

I might have to do that too, as its been a year since I saw any B5.

That's what worries me - I have to keep going to the end now, if I stop I may never start again
