Watchable but a bit weak imo :)
Nice to learn a bit more about Odo and see where he gets his hairdo from but little more than a character development vehicle this one. (Which isn't a bad thing :) )
OK, but predictable. Even so, not too bad.

Disappointing this one. On the one hand, not a necessarily bad episode, but on the other, if you're talking a Odo origins story you'd really be expecting to see more.
Always good to see James Sloyan in Trek, and he does put a pretty decent performance in here as well.
Ah, one of my favourite Romulans... but not playing a Romulan
Well, I really enjoyed this one, possibly because I didn't remember the twist at all
Again, I have to mention the planetside set, which I thought looked brilliant. Even though the backdrop was fairly obvious it was lit in such a natural way that it didn't feel like a set - something that Star Trek in all its guises has always had a problem with, imo, because it's so difficult to carry off. DS9 handles it very well, regularly
I liked the understated conflict between Odo and Mora, and the way Mora came to realise how his wishes were affecting Odo was very well handled, I thought :)
Sisko's reaction when Odo told him why he wanted the Runabout was interesting, I would be interested to know what was going through his mind :ponder:
Good stuff :)
