Is there a thread or a bit that helps idiots like me with posting? What I mean is that I've forgotten how to quote things with the name of the person you are quoting, if you see what I mean. I can quote things, but it just says Quote, not Quote with name and time of post quoted. I have managed it in the past, and I know it's quite simple, but I've forgotten.

Hi, you just need to press the quote button on the top right of the person's post you wish to quote :)

All you have to do is press the quote button and if you want to see what you are quoting and what time the message was writtten,you would have to scroll down the screen.

Oh god yes, that's right, thanks- is that one of the things that the rubbish web address mucks up? The buttons seem to have disappeared. I can't book mark you at w**k (where I am) so I just told Google that I was feeling lucky, which, of course, sends you to the address that does not w**k properly.

Yeah I’d stay clear of the .co.uk URL, It doesn’t let you stay logged in, stupid thing :ermm: What must be happening is that you’re logging in, but when you click on a thread or refresh the page it logs you out, causing the quote buttons to disappear :unsure:

I always use the .co.uk address, and it's never logged me out at all :)

It's got something to do with the cookie and security settings....

Actually it was just me still being an idiot- you need to (I now realise) click the quote button before the Add Reply button. It is slow going but I get there in the end. Thanks for being helpful.
