| With the Shadows next target known, a massive counterattack is prepared. Ivanova and Marcus scout ahead in the White Star, while the fleet stands by in hyperspace. At the same, time Franklin finally has to face his problems as he lies fatally wounded in Downbelow. |

Another great space battle, at Susan's attempts to sleep on the minbari beds, and Franklin has finally finished walkabout. I often find it kinda cringeworthy in tv shows/movies when characters start talking to themselves like he did in this ep, but I've seen worse variations I guess.
And :o to Sheridan's wife turning up. I did wonder if she would seeing as Morden was still alive. But the question is, is she w**king for the Shadows too?
Onto the finale.

I'm afraid I FFed the Franklin parts - nothing against them as such but I wanted to get to the good bits.

I watched the Franklin scenes the first time around, but must admit to FFing through them ever since. They just detract from what's going on with Sheridan/Delenn et al.

I did think the whole Franklin thing was a bit of padding. What was he staring at in sickbay btw. (I've just had my gums sliced open so I wasn't focusing that well)
Romantic interludes abound. Marcus fancies Ivanova (Gerroff Marcus, I saw her first) and  at Sheridan's expression when Delenn says they should spend the night together. If any woman had wanted to watch my face when I slept she probably would have legged it after five minutes.
Excellent battle scene.

Could've sworn I'd just posted this, where'd it go?
Anyway, I feel the same way. I think I'd just lost interest in the character and that particular storyline by that point, just felt like shouting "Get on with it!!"
Everything else, though, is superb. The battle is breathtaking, although slightly spoiled by the constant switchbacks to Franklin's predicament which kills the pacing slightly, I feel.
I love the scene between Marcus and Ivanova, especially when he talks to her in Minbari, bless his cotton socks
And as for the final scene... :o Although it's always slightly marred by the memory of that buck-toothed little girl running down the hillside in Little Prouse On The Hairie :fear:
I'd far rather they'd got the original actress from season 2 for the part

What? Tasha Yar's sister?
The one criticism I could possibly have about the whole 'Anna Sheridan' piece that starts here and ends at Z'ha'dum is that there's never any real doubt in the viewer's mind that the Shadows are in fact evil, and it's all an elaborate con job to get Sheridan to Z'ha'dum. I don't know how else they could have played it to be fair, given how the story arc of the Shadows had gone up until that point. But, if you're going to play that card, the 'are they/aren't they' then there should really be some realistic ambiguity.
It's a very minor criticism in the grand scheme of things though.
