Title: 4x17
Description: A Clean Conscience

kicking it old school - April 30, 2005 10:43 AM (GMT)
I feel as though I've missed something, the end of last weeks episode Sloane had gone completely psycho, with blood all over his face and a creepy grin. I kind of expected some follow up on that, but it seems to be forgotten.

Quite a good episode, but a little slow to start off with. So Sophia is Yelena? Interesting, but also incredibly confusing.. I think it was totally unfair of Syd to have a go at Sloane for running a background check on Sophia. It's fair enough that he'd want to check up on her, and it looks like he had good reason to be suspicious as well, and surely it's pretty standard CIA protocol to make checks on people who you don't know anything about, for safety. So that annoyed me a bit. There was barely any Weiss in this episode :(, I think he had about 1 line.

Jack :tear:  No no no no no :tear:. But :x to him digging into his hand, wasn't he taught that it's bad to pick your scabs?

Overall slightly disappointing, was hoping for more follow up of 4x16, but an ok episode, with many :o moments.

What are people's feelings of the season so far? I've not been too impressed with it, compared to the seasons before. It may be because I'm having week long gaps between the episodes now (whereas I watched seasons 1-3 in about a month) so it's feeling more disjointed. But I'm really having trouble getting into it. It feels like a totally different show to the earlier seasons. And there's no Sark . Having said that, I'm still enjoying it, but there's something missing.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed there was no follow up to the end of last weeks ep, but I'm sure we'll get to that in time.

I agree it was gross with Jack digging into his hand, and his steady decline continues. I can't see a way out for him. :(

:o to Sophie being Yelena. But did someone suggest that in the episode where Vaughn met Sophie? I'll have to check.

I'm still enjoying the season. It had a good start, tailed off a bit in the middle, but over the past few weeks has been as good as ever. I think it was definitely suffering from a lack of an arc earlier on, but at least that's now been rectified. And yes, I'm missing Sark too. I keep hoping he'll turn up again though.

Oh and "TerrorDad" from this season of 24 got w**k again quick, didn't he? ;)

Psycho Jack - May 13, 2005 11:51 PM (GMT)
Ho hum…

What the hell was that then? A great episode with a very Sesson1-cliffhanger ending followed by this… disappointing. So very disappointing. I wanted to the episode to pick up right from last week. <_<

Anyway – best thing about the episode was Nester Serrano. Also a good a self-referencing nod to the Dixon’s wife.

And yes, poor poor Jack…

I take it that I was the only one shouting ` Spinal Tap ` :headbang: during the first few mins of this episode ?! :lmao: I don`t know, Michael McKean as a doctor ? Oh, and ick to all the Jack stuff. :x Poor Jack !

Well, I thought Sophia was a baddy, but I didin`t see the Elena thing coming at all. :o

Ah, more of the Vaughn-Dixon double act. I would have had him  How good was Carl Lumbly ? :lmao:

As has been said I thought the total lack of continuity from last week's episode which felt like a cliffhanger to me was very odd and unsatisfactory.

Really felt for Jack this week :tear: it really does look bad for him doesn't it. Don't trust his doctor at all ( but that might just be because he's often playing slimey characters ) he was a bit too keen for Jack to confess everything for me but LOL @ the idea of Jack writing his memoirs.

Thinking about LP's mention of the Vaughn / Dixon double act ( which was good )and the rouge Vaughn episodes we had anyone think JJ might be thinking ahead to a possible post-JG Alias ? :ponder:

Oh and well done to whoever it was who guessed that Sophia was Elena. :)

I don't trust that doctor at all either <_< I didn't guess that Sophia was Elena at all, total surprise at the end
