An okay episode but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I was going to for some reason :huh:
I always tend to like the Ferengi centered eps but this one did seem a little thin on re-watching. Also what the hell is the make up for the alien people (can't remember their name Dozai?) all about :blink:
Okay but only really noteworthy as the first mention of the Dominion, who (as James might say) sound a little ominous :lol: ;)

Another good performance by Wallace Shawn as the Nagus. Love or loathe the character, Wallace Shawn always brings him to life extremely well.

The Pel storyline is almost interesting, but doesn't quite grab as much as it should.
Of course, as Dave says, the Dominion reference is all important here.

This one had me laughing much of the time. Must admit I remembered it quite well, so the twist turned out not to be much of a twist at all, but I love the way Rom deals with the situation (my favourite bit is when Quark and Pel return to the station and Rom drags Quark away to force Pel to tell him the truth, all without hearing what they're saying, and then Quark fainting :lol: :lol: ).
Any episode with Zek in gets a thumbs up from me, and the way he latches onto Kira in this episode is funnier than hilarious. I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt a little sick when he looked at her, patted his thigh and said "Take a seat" :lmao:
I didn't remember the Dominion getting mentioned this early on but sowing the seeds in the viewer's mind is always a clever and enjoyable thing to do (resists temptation to mention B5 :whistling: ).
Quark's becoming quite the stud :lol:

I like this one. Continues the tradition started back in season one of Ferengi episodes being a laugh a minute (almost!).
Funniest bit for me is when Zek finds out that Pel is Female. Like he's just been confronted by a dog-sized spider! Love the little "Shame on you...." as well :lol:
I was surprised to see the Dominion mentioned so soon in the season as well. Had it in mind that it was at least mid season before they got a mention at all.

Personally I love the silent moment where Pel reveals herself to Quark only for him to faint comedy-style straight onto his back :)
