Title: Episode 4.16
Psycho Jack - April 22, 2005 06:15 PM (GMT)
Blimey. :o This is getting interesting now . . .
Notable turns by Michelle Forbes and Joel Grey.
Really don’t know where this is going, but I'm actually quite happy about that. :)

Er...perhaps this thread title should be censured aswell.
Another good episode. That's about 3 or 4 fantastic ones in a row. The season has definitely hit its stride now.
Sloane was rather scary at the end, it seems like he's returning to his old ways. :fear:.
Laura - April 22, 2005 09:32 PM (GMT)
Ahh no the arc is starting and it's at the same time as the dreaded exams :tear:.
It's getting very very interesting, and Sloane was incredibly scary at the end. "It's all over" :fear:, with the blood and the scary look :fear:.
 @ Weiss and Nadia at the hotel talking about wedding plans, they are so sweet :)
And as for next weeks promo :tear: :o, find it
hereETA: yeah, the thread title should really be changed to omit the episode title :ermm:
Persephone - April 22, 2005 09:46 PM (GMT)
Wow, and it just keeps getting better :o
LMAO @ Arvin 'Clone' , lots of well timed humour in this ep, with some cracking one liners
Still can't get over Sloane's blood splattered expression at the end. Can't wait till next week.
(very glad I couldn't see what they did to the scientist's hands properly, even the sound was agonising :fear: )
Big thumbs up
kicking it old school - April 22, 2005 11:15 PM (GMT)
Wow. Really scary ending. Has Sloane gone back to his psycho days? :fear: The blood and the smile and Nadia's look of uhoh.. all really disturbing. :ermm:
Looks like a good arc's being set up. But I'm still a little apprehensive about returning to all the Rambaldi stuff. It's been done, imo. But I guess if it's all from a new angle, what with the "Arvin Clone" it should be fresh & new.
The whole clone situation is very weird. Can't wait to find out what that's all about. Looks like we've got a good few weeks ahead of us .

Oh bugger! I forgot the UK guys are using this board as well. It’s very confusing…
I don’t have the option of re-editing my post, it’s only an admin thing. I’ll IM Rob. :whistling: *sigh* Gonna have to stop posting soon in fear of running the season for others.
Fangy and grrr - July 18, 2005 03:32 PM (GMT)
Another enjoyable episode  loved Sloane losing it at the end and then rather hysterically trying to tell Nadia everything was ok with blood all over his face. :fear:
The whole Arvin Clone  thing still has me intrigued but the only problem I have is with the reappearance of Rambaldi  I really wish they'd move on and am I the only one who thinks the greatness and importance of his invention is slighty undermined by the fact that its a ridiculous looking, massive red plastic ball ? I'd be more interested if it started to chase Syd down a corridor like in Indiana Jones or like those ballon's in The Prisoner.
Oh and I thought the scenes between Michelle Forbes scientist and the Sloane clone were very similar to the ones between Sloane and Christian Slater's scientist which I presume was intentional to show their identical methods. :ponder:
little pixie - July 18, 2005 03:50 PM (GMT)
Wow, what a chilling ending to this episode ! :o
Not sure about the whole big red ball, either - it did look like an oversized Xmas bauble...
Yay for Michelle Forbes, though . But isn`t Jack supposed to be sick ? :ponder:

I thought I noticed something up with Jack eyes but maybe I was just looking to hard.
Btw did we know that Jack had actually pulled the trigger on Irina himself ?
And did Vaughn already that know Jack had killed her as Syd mentioned it right in front of him ?
I'm finding it very difficult to keep up with all the twist's and turns of Alias these days.

Iirc, in the first two eps. , Sydney gets all shouty at Jack about him killing Irina ( isn`t that what she found out in those papers at the end of Season 3 ? ) and later on she has a good cry on Vaughn about it all in her bedroom. :)
Outta Sight - July 18, 2005 08:03 PM (GMT)
Jam packed episode again  I actually really liked the big, red bally thing :ph43r: :lmao: Or, to be more precise, I liked seeing the scale model at the beginning and then getting the view of the real article in all it's glory :fear: :lmao:
The ending was very freaky, I was actually expecting one of them to shoot the other

Hmm, there does not appear to be a ` Needs to get out more ` emoticon... ;) though I did notice the whole red thing they had going on, what with Sloane`s red socks at the start, the red ball and all that blood. Oh dear, I`m noticing socks - I must get out more. :lmao:
Can`t see that `big red bally thing` without being reminded of MV`s rather naughty comment about it on the commentary for ` Almost Thirty Years `. :whistling:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers that whenever the red ball of doom reappears

Ok I thought noticing the subtle way they changed Sloane's outfits to make him more or less suspicious was very observant of you LP but noticing he was wearing red socks is just ... :toomuchtv:
Btw the chairs and folders at APO were red .. well a red / burgundy colour anyway. ;)
Oh and I liked the bunches. :)

Fantastic, best ep of the season so far, imo
Great to see Michelle Forbes again, terrific actress. Loved the whole elevator sequence and the way Sloane realised what was happening. The final scene was brilliant
