I wish the BBC would change their mind and make more of these. I enjoyed it and have got both series on dvd.

You can get both series from Music Zone for £2.97 each. Won't do you any good Ken obviously, but anyone else who enjoyed the series might want to check out MZ.
Didn't really like the show myself.

Y?

Too lightweight.
It didn't know whether it was supposed to be drama or comedy. Casting Reeves & Mortimer didn't do it any favours either as they too often gravitated towards their natural tone.
Like Crime Traveller it was just too lightweight to hold my attention I'm afraid.

I loved the original but IMO Reeves & Mortimer spoilt it for me :(

Depends which way you look at it I guess. For some no doubt it's a case of "look it's R&H with R&M", for me it was more a case of "look it's R&M doing R&H".
They were just odd choices IMO. Crime Traveller, you missed nothing Ken, trust me.

I loved the original 60's version of R&H, and to be honest, the travesty that is the R&M remake just pisses over the memory of Mike Pratt :(

I think it's fair to say that the whole thing was ill-conceived from the beginning.

Guess Randall and Hopkirk is just another thing we have to disagree on!!!
