| Besides some of the actors, a segment of the online fanbase has also been highly critical of the episode, even before seeing a single frame of footage from the Enterprise finale. "If you go on some of those fan sites, you'd think I was one of the worst war criminals," Braga told the paper. "And I make the mistake of reading this stuff every day. [...] They say that I killed Star Trek. That my w**k was so crappy that I got Enterprise cancelled. There's a small but vocal group of people who have been lambasting me ever since The Next Generation." |

well thats because you did you T**T
I love the way the B+B have this attitude. "Look! everyone in the world thinks we're rubbish, the idiots! Why is it we are the only ones who can see our own genius".
Same old story. "I know the truth, stop confusing me with the facts"
Enterprise got cancelled because people stopped watching it, presumably because they didn't like and and would rather watch something else instead :frusty:

That has to be the funniest thing I've read for ages!
I'm pleased for Braga, at least we know that there is one person out there that appreciates his w**k!
Always nice to have confidence in your own ability I suppose, even if the rest of the world thinks it's crap!
The real criminals are Paramount of course. As James says, Trek has been falling off since DS9 was at its height. However much I like Enterprise, I'm not going to start telling everyone it's even close to that quality. Ratings have been down, adverse reviews have gone up. There's been shedloads of criticism from within the media, and from within the fanbase. Hell, even Star Trek Magazine never suggests Voyager and Enterprise have been perfect... that must say something. If Paramount were serious about Trek, then surely they'd have got rid of The Gruesome Twosome some time back and given the show every chance of success.

Apparently Berman has a year and a half left on this contract.
When they said, trek will take a break, I wonder how long they were thinking of?
Also, Manny Coto says he has a trek pitch lined up, but he's not going to take it to paramount "until the time is right". Presumably, this means in a year and seven months.
