While Sheridan is unstuck in time, seeing a glimpse of a future Centauri Prime in ruins, the others continue with their plan to take Babylon 4 back in time.

Hmm, Babylon Squared makes a whole lot more sense now.

So, Delenn does end up with Sheridan, and they have a son!

Londo's vision of him & g'kar killing one anothercame to be, and also Vir taking up the mantle of Emperor.

Also, the unplanned time jump 4 years into the future, which is why B4 reappeared in time for Sinclair & Garibaldi to visit it before, all of the Zathros speeches (he's pretty cool ), why the future Sinclair was so old, the building of that pyramid thingie which works for both human and minbari. I'd guessed from the first ep that Sinclair had written the letter to himself though.

Anyway, fab!

No matter how many times I watch WWE the scene with him and the Vorlons at the end with "My name is Valen" never fails to send a massive shiver down my spine.

This is one of my favourite episodes of anything. Making sense of "Babylon Squared" for a start. The possible future for Sheridan and Delenn, G'Kar and Londo killing each other and the resolution of Sinclair's destiny. I remember when I first saw this episode I just gawped. As Sinclair's only fan on this board I feel vindicated: the man's a god.

Great Stuff

NOTE: This episode is the flip-side of the first season episode "Babylon Squared". They fit together with two exceptions - Delenn's clothes are noticably different, and because there wasn't enough time to show Zathras being captured the way Major Krantz described it in Squared, he is instead picked up by a security patrol in this episode.

By the way, does anyone else find it strange that the Minbari were using exactly the same kind of Battle Cruisers 1000 years ago that they are in 2260?

Slightly different lines but I know what you mean.

Then again Earth Force destroyers are a bit Aircraft Carrierish.

Same here. Like I mentioned in the part 1 thread, the revelations are handled so well. I tend to get very caught up in things and swept along, I didn't see that one coming at all when I first saw the series.

This is just stunning, from start to finish, filling in all the gaps and providing many more questions. The future for Sheridan is brilliantly handled, to the point that he seems just a little too jovial when he returns and Delenn asks him what happened (obviously a time constraint because so much else was happening).

Goes without saying that every scene featuring Zathras is a gem :yahoo:

"Zathras is used to being beast of burden to other people's needs. Very sad life. Probably have very sad death. But, at least there is symmetry."

"Cannot run out of time. There is infinite time. You, are finite. Zathras, is finite. This, is wrong tool."

Can't quote him enough...

I suppose it's inevitable that their are a couple of minor continuity errors, but it doesn't matter. It ranks up there with Farscape's Into The Lion's Den two-parter and Liars, Guns & Money trilogy as my favourite multi-part story. It's a masterpiece
