OK, the polls are officially closed, and the result is a resounding victory for Good Omens.

So if you haven't got your copy already, Get a hustle on, we start reading it on Monday

If you haven't finished reading Watchers yet, well, what have you been doing with your time?

Don't tell me some of you have lives that don't revolve around the book club!!!! <_<

I'm Glad you enjoyed it.

That's the original I had in suggesting a book club. Getting people to read things they wouldn't normally, open them up to different things.

I'm so glad its w**king :D

LOL! I just seem to be re-reading some of my old fav's :lmao:

jamiearmour - April 18, 2005 09:28 PM (GMT)
Well I hope everyone is at least a couple of pages in by now. :ph43r:

I've just finished reading the Dramatis Personae LOL

I won't spoil the start, (i.e. In the beginning) for anyone who hasn't opened the book yet, but you're in for a good laugh, and then some more laughs. In fact it's a laugh out loud book. Just don't read it on a bus, that's where I read a few pages back when I read it originally, well the looks I got of some people, you'd think they'd never seen someone laugh hysterically whilst rolling about the floor before :ph43r: :lmao:

Yep, I think I've done that before. Not the rolling around ;), but the laughing out loud on a bus, whilst reading either this particular book, or another of TP's.

Fantastic start, and one of my favourite and most memorable bits of it is always the comment about Milton Keynes.

I'm just a couple of pages into Wednesday at the mo. :)

jamiearmour - April 19, 2005 09:32 AM (GMT)

I'll forgive you for not reading "Watchers" :whistling:

Maybe next time you should suggest a book? One that you have or one that you know is easy to get a hold of.

I'm going to need another book case soon I think

This, I think, falls into the too much information category.

But hey, if you read in the loo (expect queues :lmao: :lmao: )
