I haven't confirmed this but I read on another forum that every Wednesday at 10pm they are showing a different Babylon 5 movie for the next few weeks.

I watched the one on Wednesday just gone, Thirdspace I think it was, enjoyable, the scene in the lift with the security bloke and Lita was very funny. The ending though was utterly ridiculous with Sheridan in his jetpack flying through space amidst the battle to set off a nuclear bomb in the artefact - terrible.

Yep that was really funny with security chief Zack Allen and Lita in the lift. It was also some pretty impressive acting on his part because they were very few cuts during the scene and he had tons of lines!

Thirdspace is probably the best of the 3 later movies.

I'm not sure - I think A Call to Arms just ekes into first place :)]

I wasn't counting that one for some reason

Thirdspace occupies the middle ground as far as the movies go.

In The Beginning and A Call to Arms are pretty good, Thirdspace is ok, whereas River of Souls and Legend of the Rangers were pretty awful.

I am pretty much with Crichton kicks on that one although the first couple of times I saw Third Space I thought it was very good but my opinion of it has changed downgrading it slightly.

In The Beginning and A Call to Arms - Very good
Thirdspace - good
River of Souls - ok to not so good
Legend of the Rangers - awful but I'd watch it again cause it's B5 related

I rewatched "Legend of the Rangers" last night (well, about 2am this morning) and I quite enjoyed it. Perhaps it gets better after a while away.

It has it's charms,
the ecclectic mix of misfit crew members.... check.
All powerfull villains from the distant past.... check.
Clapped out ship......check.
P*ssed off female Narn.......check.
Peter Katsulas acting everyone else off the set and stealing every scene......check.

I can still see why the series was never picked up, the premise sounds strangely familiar, mysterious force of darkness from the past has returned with technology that far outstrips anything we have, desperate fight for survival, Sound familiar to anyone else?

Back to the good points.
The ship, the Leandra, it's cute, and it's weapons interface bore further scrutiny (which it'll never get.)
The cast all seemed capable enough and played to their best ability.
Oh and the main Good point. It's B5 universe. I missed that :tear: :tear:

I want B5 back in some shape or form, if that meant a LOTR series then so be it.

Hmm, just re-read that accronym. That could have become a problem eh?

Sadly it looks like any further B5y goodness is unlikely at present :tear:

Why do American tv (and movie) executives hate us? :tear: :tear: :tear:
