:o A Sloane imposter (played by the guy who was "Doc" in season 5 Buffy)! Never saw that coming :o!

A really good episode. Vaughn was interesting for possibly the first time ever .. I was hoping that he'd turn evil in this episode, get tempted by the dark side or something like that, and end up as the big bad for the season.. but it doesn't look like it.

Interesting about Irina not actually wanting to kill Sydney but Sloane setting her up. But was it real Sloane or fake Sloane? I wonder.. this season has finally become really interesting and it looks like we have an arc at last!

I loved the classic Alias style of starting the episode at the end then going 48hours earlier and showing how it leads up to it. I always like that type of episode.

Thinks aren't looking too good for Jack :tear: :(

As soon as I saw Joel Grey in the credits I thought "I'm fairly sure he'll be some kind of big bad rather than just a one-off baddie", but I didn't expect the Sloane thing. The question is, is he setting Sloane up, is it mere coincidence that they share the same surname and initial (and I don't belive in coincidences when it comes to Alias), or has Arvin got an evil brother/cousin called Andrew or something?

Great ep by Vaughn. I also liked how they made it seem like his dad actually was still alive, but then squashed that idea. That would have been one too many parents coming back from the grave. And I didn't for a minute believe that Dixon was in any danger from Vaughn having shot him. Of course he was wearing a vest.

Good to see Katya again, but I was concerned by what she said of Irina - "before she died...". Is this another misdirect, or is Irina really dead? :ermm:

And things still look grim for Jack... :tear:

That freaked me out!!!!! Why in the world would someone want to impersonate Sloane? ew. Apart from the whole world domination being a little easier of course. But why? What would possess such a person!

I cant figure it out, like M and Ria implied above its too confusing  maybe he is acting as a front man for Sloane who is being too closely watched by the CIA?

I loved this episode anyway. JJ had better not mess bad with the spydaddy though. Im ok with a really good father daughter hospital scene... Just nowt worse!

:o What's going on there then? At last Alias has become really interesting (and it would be when the dreaded exams are coming up ). I read about Joel Gray playing Sloane but had forgotten about it until I saw him at the end, I didn't even see his name in the credits.
Is this some set-up so Vaughn and Syd go after the real Sloane? And who is behind it?
Poor Jack, please don't let him be written out :tear:

Erm … what the what now?

I’m so confuzzeled!

This is either going to be best idea ever, or the worst idea ever. We shall see…

Right there with you Moe

Indeed not looking good for Jack, but bless Marshall for his concern.

Absolutely loved the other Sloane, wtf :o

Great to see Katya again, and I'd tend to believe her side of events concerning Irina's supposed hit on Syd, at least I'd hope that was the case anyway. Getting very intriguing now

So glad the situation with Vaughan's been sorted out, it was begining to drag a bit, and I think the last thing Alias needs, is another character returning from the dead, albeit one that's not even had any screentime.

Oh for God's sake, as if this show wasn't ridiculous enough already...

Yeah, I'm not a fan of S4 Alias. I'm forcing myself to watch every week because I want to see how it all ends and I can't just come back for the end of S5 because then I won't understand anything. But everything about this show annoys me at the moment. Except Vaughn. Because he's lovely

Didn't see any of it coming, because it'll all to insane for anyone to guess.

I like Jack, but I hope he dies just because it would be a shock. I don't think this show has the guts to kill off a main character, I'd love for them to prove me wrong about that.

Ok that was a great twist ending  no idea if it will turn out to be inspired or total nonsense but it was a great ending. I thought it was a little to early in the season for them to discover Sloane was behind everything but I wasn't expecting that. So who or what is this other Sloane ? Is he :

1. A Sloane clone. ;)
2. A Sloane tribute act ( Nadia was wearing a t-shirt with ' Die Hard Fan ' on it, a clue perhaps ? )
3. Sloane's dead wife ( she is dead right ? I get confused ) comes back from the dead ... has a sex change and then as she/he is perfectly entitled to starts calling herself/himself Mr Sloane.
4. He's Sloane's evil ... even more evil twin.

I thought Vaughn was excellent 'consider this the 2nd time you've been rejected by the CIA' Poor Jack :tear: but bless at Marshall's concern. Getting interesting isn't it ?

Oooh, ooh, loved that Vaughn line, too.

Wasn`t too sure about showing Dixon getting shot right at the beginning, but I suppose if they`d shown it near the end it would have been one too many things to cope with ,what with all those twists with Sloane being guilty, then the arrival of evil Sloane, or rather Sloane 2.0.

Loved the costume changes - Vaughn in black leather when he`s rogue, then switching to a nice brown suede, ooohhh....

Thumbs up to the costume dept., because I noticed before that they switch Sloane to his S1 suit/tie outfits when he`s being untrustable, rather than this season`s usual Chinese inspired stuff. :)

Mmm, I think I noticed it a couple of weeks ago.

Coo, 2/3 of the way through the series already ! :)

Erm

Good episode, great to see Izabella Scorupco ( ), liked all the stuff about Jack, didn't see the end coming at all.

It's still lacking that spark that made the first two seasons so good, though, imo :ermm:

Outta Sight - July 12, 2005 08:49 AM (GMT)
Ditto to pretty much everything above :lmao: Great episode  I'm not even going to try and figure out the double Sloane thing, I'm just going to let it unfold and hope that it's good
