It's hard to sum up a series that has been running for 4 seasons in just a few words. There are many great parts to the show.

It's about Superman before he was Superman, an interesting premise I always think. You get to see Clark struggling to try to live a normal life and deal with his developing powers at the same time and his battle to try to keep his secrets from his friends. And the guy who plays Clark is cute (if a little too young for me ;) )

Ask Karen and Steve to sell Farscape to you. They're very good at that ;) :lol: :lol:

It has a lot of fun with the myth too.

Having Clark be best friends with Lex Luthor is a great idea, and it's been really interesting to see how they've gone about illustrating Lex's gradual slide to the dark side, far and away the best aspect of the show.

I like the way Clark's powers are being introduced one by one as well, and the way the family values ingrained in him by Jonathan and Martha are being challenged more and more.

Try checking out some episodes like season 1's Rogue, Stray or Tempest to get a feel for it. Season 2's Red, Ryan or Rosetta are among the best episodes so far, as are season 3's Obsession and Crisis. :)

I've seen one random episode of Smallville and I've been trying to download the first season for ages so I can watch it properly, but it never works. :tear: All the ones I've tried have tracker problems or something like that. Anyone know where I can find it?

It's not a show that can be sold you in 5 words,i guess you should find the basic story to it and then you'll either love it or hate it.

Why not, I thought season three was good.

The majority of people including myself didn't like season three,it would explain why the ratings dropped ;)

I thought it started off really well, but then it tailed off quite a bit towards the end. It lost its way, imo.

Having said that, the Lionel/Lex stuff was still good :)
