Title: Episode 4 - Black Blizzard
Description: Comments

With rousties setting up in what appears to be the middle of nowhere, Samson gets himself slicked up to pay a visit to town, Sophie argues with her mother about her own plans for a diversion and Lodz summons ben to show him something about Scudder...

As I slowly catch up ( ), this is the best episode so far.
The scenes with Ben and Lodz were very interesting but, for me, it was the stuff about Sophie and Sampson that was most interesting, the latter's visit to the prostitute and his subsequent jealousy starting out as funny and ending up being quite unpleasant.
And again, the last few minutes are both riveting and shocking. Clancy Brown is brilliant here, can't wait to see where they're taking this :)

 yes loved this episode.
I really enjoyed Sophie's story, she is so likeable. Her pretence at having a normal life and being courted for a few hours bless her. Of course she would then feel guilty about having left her mother's trailer with the door open leaving the dust to get in - yuck, after her mother seemed to warn her at the beginning.
Wonderful storm effects and Lodz revelation that Ben is powerful enough to stop it.
And what about Jones discovery that the Management isn't actually there :o
Isn't Clancy Brown just fabulous, he is such a strong character and Justin is really quite intimidating. Can't wait for the story to unfold some more.

I feel quite sorry for him at the moment :(

Again with the wow! A stunning episode... again so much going on, and a lot of remarkable things to look at. Visually, that storm was incredible. The Samson story was excellent, as was the Sophie story and as was the Ben and Lodz story. The Brother Justin thread was terrific too... like everyone else, I feel sorry for him so far.
Clancy Brown is excellent. I loved him in Highlander, he was scary in a camp, behind the sofa kind of way. He has such an ominous presence, and that rich voice gives him such gravitas. (Great word, gravitas, huh... guess who swallowed the dictionary today!)
Looking forward to episodes 5 and 6 now. But first I have episodes 5-8 of Survivors to watch!

Episode 5, Babylon is pretty special. I think you'll enjoy that one Hovis.
If you're loving the first season this much already then it's a safe bet that season 2's just going to blow you away. It destroyed everything else on television last year IMO. Probably the best season of television since B5's heyday.

Thanks James, I loved it!
I'm making slow progress due to being away and other distractions. But loving the show nonetheless. I don't want to rush it, it's far to good to waste like that!

Sorry for resurrecting this but i have only just started watching this show. I was actually expecting the little guy to walk in before Jonesey got to the curtains, not that there would be nothing there.
The little speech that the vicar gave to his wife (sorry, not learnt the names yet) was quite dramatic and does make you think. The one about how we just put the clothes on our back without thinking who made them.
I am actually downloading the episodes one at a time, but as i get to the end of each episode i am just waiting for more, did this ever make it over to UK tv?
